The Applications Management Pack for the E-Business Suite was originally available only for Linux platforms. For those of you waiting for the latest generation of our systems management tool to be ported to your operating system, some good news: it's now available for Sun Solaris.

The Application Management Pack for Oracle E-Business Suite extends Oracle Enterprise Manager 10gR3 Grid Control to help monitor and manage Applications environments. This latest version can be used to manage the following environments:
- E-Business Suite Release 12.0 and higher
- E-Business Suite Release 11.5.10 with ATG RUP 4 or higher
are available, but it's important to note that the Application
Management Pack for Oracle E-Business Suite is a separately licensed
product. If you'd like to do a hands-on evaluation of this latest
release, you should give your Oracle account team a call.

Hi, Bas,I'm assuming that you're referring to the port for the IBM AIX operating system.I know that our Apps Management Pack team is working on that port, but I don't have a firm schedule for this yet. I'll post an update here as soon as possible.Regards,Steven

Jack,Confirmed. This is for Grid Control 10gR3. As far as I'm aware, there are no plans to backport this to 10gR2. Regards,Steven

Steven,
According to docs, application management pack can only be tagged with grid control 10gR3. Could you please confirm that?
We are on grid 10gR2. Any plan to back port management pack to grid version prior to R3?
Thanks.

I checked with our sales rep, who said to download it off Oracle Store. Except it isn't there. Can you give any more specifics on where to get it? Thanks!

Hi, Lori,You're right. I just checked the Solaris categories and the Apps Management Pack doesn't show up in either 32-bit or 64-bit areas. I apologize for the confusion.I'm following up with the product manager to find out why the Solaris ports aren't available for download as advertised. I'll post an update here as soon as possible.Regards,Steven

Sorry, not trying to beat this to death here, but I don't find it that way. Here's what I select:
EBusiness Suite + Solaris SPARC 64bit
Results:
Oracle® E-Business Suite Applications Release 12.0 Media Pack for Solaris Operating System (SPARC)
Oracle E-Business Suite Applications Release 12.0 (with NLS Supplement) Media Pack for Solaris Based Systems
Oracle® Applications 11i Release 10.2 for Solaris Operating System (SPARC 32-bit) with Solaris Operating System (SPARC 64-bit) Oracle® Database
Oracle® Applications 11i Release 10.2 (with NLS Supplement) Media Pack for Solaris Operating System (SPARC 64-bit)
i-flex Reveleus BASEL II 3.1 Advanced English Media Pack for Solaris_Oracle10g - Without MF
i-flex Reveleus BASEL II 3.1 Advanced English Media Pack for Solaris_Oracle10g
i-flex Reveleus BASEL II 3.1 Basic English Media Pack for Solaris_Oracle10g - Without MF
---
I select #3 Oracle® Applications 11i Release 10.2 for Solaris Operating System (SPARC 32-bit) with Solaris Operating System (SPARC 64-bit) Oracle® Database.
I get another lengthy list, but the Application Mgmt Pack is not in that list, either.
I also tried searching under 32bit, but I didn't find it there, either.
