AppsLab takes Social Networking Corporate

Social Networking Goes Corporate

The guys at AppsLab have taken the social networking craze inside the Oracle firewall
As Facebook, MySpace, and LinkedIn have competed to make us more social
by putting us in front of our computers more, a new opportunity has
presented itself within corporate communications.

Corporate
relationships are much the same as social relationships.  Several
companies have already started their own networking sites connecting
current and past employees.  A very distributed organization like
Oracle stands to benefit greatly by leveraging the SN business model as
an internal collaboration tool.  I can see this tied in with Webcenter
or any other portal product already.

As this is an internal product, I must apologize to the vast majority of you.  Oracle employees - get logged in.

- Ferris Bueller highly recommends "Connect"
"If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up"
