OOW The first two days
Monday was actually my second day at OOW. I started on Sunday delivering the Xtreme weekend "Simpler Java Development" training.
A bunch of developers showed up early on a Sunday and spent the day getting to know the basic components of ADF and the techniques to build applications in a more productive way.
Monday started with a session at the Hilton - where we hold a "sub conference", despite my fears that "no one knows about the Oracle Develop" sessions, I actually had a good show up for a session that covered some of the areas that don't get too much exposure in JDeveloper - things like the various profilers, refactoring and unit testing.
(There is one more day of sessions at the Hilton tomorrow - so make sure to visit us there and try out the hands-on labs).
The it was off for a 25 minutes walk to Moscone South to do a shift on the JDev booth.
The demoground this year is huge.
You can easily get lost there - so if you are looking to find the JDeveloper booth - just go straight from the entrance door until you reach the back of the room - this is where the middleware demoground is. JDeveloper is on the far right side.
I guess most of the developers were busy in session so we weren't too busy at the booth.
Next for me is the OTN Party at the Westin in Union Square - see you there.
