Hi,
I don't know if this is the right place to ask this question, but i can't seem to find help anywhere else, so pls bear with me. I am a Linux newbie and few days ago installed OracleLinux4 which i got from subscription to Oracle magazine. After installing i tried to update, i click on the 'Unbreakable Linux Network Alert Notification Tool' icon on the task bar near the date, a small window comes up and tells me that 'the applet has been unable to access the following information in its last attempts: ULN @ https://linux-update.oracle.com/APPLET'. Then i clicked on 'launch up2date' button it asked me to input my password which i did and then nothing happens after that. I right-click and tell it to check for updates and then nothing happens, but when i click it again it shows this msg 'Error: '. I don't know whatelse to do, pls help.
Thank you in advance.

@Obi:
The best place to ask questions about Oracle Enterprise Linux is on the OEL forum: http://forums.oracle.com/forums/forum.jspa?forumID=822
That said, it looks like your issue is addressed in the FAQ:
https://linux.oracle.com/uln_faq.html
Note that access to Unbreakable Linux Network requires a valid support license. If you don't have that, you may use public-yum.oracle.com to install additional packages.
