Database Security Webcast On September 20, 2006

Hello, this is Eric Maurice again.  This blog entry will be very short, because it is only to let you know of an upcoming Internet seminar on database security.

Customers often seek technical tips on how to properly secure Oracle databases.  We have placed a number of technical guides on the Security Technology Center on OTN.  However, we also realize that many people would like to quickly ramp up their security knowledge, without necessarily reading through too much documentation.  We hope that this one-hour webcast will be an effective and convenient opportunity for many to gain valuable database security knowledge.  During the webcast, technical experts will specifically discuss the recommendations for basic secure configurations found in the database security checklist, as well as the recommendations for implementing the Critical Patch Update

The webcast will take place on September 20, 2006 at 11:00AM PST.  It will be recorded, and will be available for replay shortly after.

Registration for this event is required.

I hope to see you there!
