In case you haven't seen it elsewhere, the new versions of our major applications suites including Oracle and Siebel CRM will be announced in New York at the end of the month.
This is the details of the event.
And I know it's not an iPhone, but it is still an exciting time for Sales Consultants.

As you are probably all aware Oracle Ebusiness Suite Release 12 is
generally available. The Case Management module is discussed in the Oracle Teleservice Implementation and User Guide
documentation.
The documentation, as ever, is fairly comprehensive and as I got up to page 729 "Creating a case" I had a rare laugh out loud moment with our documentation. This is the description of how to create a case:
"Security has just apprehended a passenger who was in the possession of
a knife at the airport boarding gate.
1. Security agent Ted Crilly starts by searching the database for any
information on the suspect."
For those of you who don't know who Ted Crilly is
try this link
Later on Ted gets to add a witness to a case, one William Bradley.
William Bradley happens to be the name of the tallest ever englishman,
but I am sure that is just a coincidence.

The UK Oracle User Group are holding a SIG meeting in London on the 22nd of February. The agenda is here.
This link also contains information on how to register etc. It is also possible to attend the particular sessions relevant to you as well as attending the whole day.
Please note that the invite has been extended to the Siebel User Group also.
I am sure it will be a very interesting session.
