What on Earh is SCA?

What on Earth is SCA?

Links to thoughts on SCA

Service Component Architecture (SCA) is not the sexiest sounding standard out there but it will be an important part of the next release of Oracle SOA Suite, providing a framework for describing the inter-relationships between components.  I thought that Edwin K did a great job of positioning it in a recent blog entry - it takes SCA out of the ethereal and plants it firmly in the real world.  I like to think of SCA as a wiring diagram for SOA components - Dave Chappell (Oracle) added his own thoughts in this blog entry.
