Yogesh Bhandarkar:

I'm also planning to give RAC exam. But there are some topics, which are not very clear

For example:

Implications of OracleNet for connecting RMAN for parallel backups

Tracing for Java based applications

Do you have any specific links detailing these topics?

Pankaj Chandiramani:

hi , I think Implications of OracleNet for connecting RMAN for parallel backups should cover the multiple channel backups , & its best practices .

For Tracing for Java based applications
-10g db has a DBMS_Monitor which is used to trace db sessions via web app .....
try the url : http://technology.amis.nl/blog/?p=1794 for detailed example .

Hope that helps
Pankaj
