Over past couple of months Oracle is making huge leeps in area of Content Structuring with their introduction of their ned DB for sturing content ,  called CONTENT DB (Part of Collaboration suite).

Now Content db will be avilable for integration with E-business Suite .......thus all teh unstructured data in E-business can now be structured with use of Content-Db .

This marks the first time that a content management product has moved
out of being in its own collaboration offering, and into the
head-of-the-class database suite. It makes a strong statement about the
importance of having access to the right tools for managing the
overwhelming amounts of data companies are juggling today

Content DB  will be available starting in August & the integration will be possible with Release 12.

I simply love HTMLdb or now whats called Application Express.

• Database connection is seamless
• No need of external application server
• Easy Import/Export & what not....
  
• And the best is on the fly Report Creations .

finally got my hands on Peoplesoft Rel 8.44......got to know loads of things abt People tool , Weblogic etc . Specially the architecture is what attracted me , have to dig in more to know details .Loved the look & feel of that .........will try to get my hands dirty by installing it on linux in couple of days ....
