E-Business Suite Release 12 to Include Oracle Application Server 10g

The most significant news:  Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 will use
Oracle Application Server 10g for its application tier.  We're
officially in the 21st Century now, so it's about time.

This long-awaited configuration will use:

* OracleAS 10g 10.1.2.x for Forms and Reports services.  This will
replace the elderly 8.0.6 ORACLE_HOME provided by Oracle9i Application
Server 1.0.2.2.2 in Release 11i.

    * OracleAS 10g 10.1.3 for Oracle Containers for Java (OC4J).
 This
will replace the aging 8.1.7-based ORACLE_HOME provided by Oracle9i
Application Server 1.0.2.2.2 in Release 11i, and herald our switch from
JServ to Oracle Containers for Java.

The above is intended to outline our general product
direction.  It is intended for information purposes only, and may not
be incorporated into any contract.   It is not a commitment to deliver
any material, code, or functionality, and should not be relied upon in
making purchasing decision.  The development, release, and timing of
any features or functionality described for Oracle's products remains
at the sole discretion of Oracle.

Just I want to confirm that we don't need 2 ORACLE_HOMEs ( 8.0.6 and 8.1.7). They will be replaced by single ORACLE_HOME 10.1.(2/3).

Pleae confirm the same.
