This is a good week for OTN users: on the heels of the "Greatest Hits" CD download, today we are releasing the 2006 incarnation of the Oracle DBA Toolbar.
As you might expect, this IE add-in (we're working on a Firefox extension as well) gives you one-click access to important OTN content like downloads and doc, as well as the standard popup blocker. But even better, it includes an integrated RSS manager that in essence allows your toolbar to function as an RSS client. Oracle feeds for OTN headlines, new downloads, etc. are baked in, but you can point your manager to others as well.
Remember, after installing enable the DBA Toolbar via View > Toolbars. We hope you enjoy it!

Hi,
I tried this on IE 6 . Got installed but could not see it (as posted on your website) . I could not even see the search bar. It just gave me a blank toolbar.
Awaiting one for firefox.
Regards,
Prem

Did you try clicking on "View > Toolbars" and selecting "Oracle DBA Toolbar"?

I installed it with IE. After rebooting, IE is working sporadically now, pop-ups are inconsistent and I received an IE ORACLE.DLL error. After uninstalling it, all these problems went away. I think this needs some work.

Chad, we're not able to reproduce this problem but will investigate. You may want to try re-installing.
Prem, the Mozilla version is in the works; expect it in early 2007.
