XE is Production
Oracle Database XE has just gone production. In honor of this occasion, we are debuting a new download button:

Remember, you can join a private discussion after install hosted by the
illustrious Tom Kyte. (Look for the "Register" link on the Homepage.)
Last I checked there were nearly 900 threads in there, many containing
great real-world insights about using XE.
