Inside Oracle's Linux Projects, Part 2
Just podcasted a recorded 3-way conversation between myself, Dir. of Linux Engineering Wim Coekaerts, and OTN's Todd Trichler. Among other things Wim comments on the "social engineering" that is often required to get functionality merged into the mainline Linux kernel (in the context of OCFS2, which will be the first cluster file system to be so integrated - in 2.6.16 RC1).
Wim also touches on how Oracle is working with the Debian community to gather requirements (Oracle Database XE will be supported on Debian eventually).
