Some of you may have followed the previous incarnation of this blog, which came into being in December 2004 for the purposes of reporting from the Oracle OpenWorld 2004 floor.
That blog was so popular that we've decided to resurrect it as a more comprehensive effort to offer opinions as well as information from some of the minds behind OTN. It will also serve to communicate some of the cool things that we're working on for developers and DBAs who rely on the Oracle technology stack.
For example, later this morning we will begin production of an OTN podcast series that will feature "fireside chats" with Oracle product and development managers. Think of it as a regular radio program designed for developers and DBAs, only with no radio required -- just podcast software and an mp3 player (or even your PC's audio player software).
I'll be sure to let you know when the first set of OTN podcasts are available!
