Extended Forecast: Rain Today and Tomorrow, Sun Coming Soon

The Weatherperson Finally Gets it Right

Looking for an unusual memento to bring home this year? How about a sandbag? San Francisco has already handed out at least 400, and it looks like we'll need more before our record-setting storms reside sometime tomorrow.

We're in the midst of unusual October rains that are flooding roads and snarling traffic throughout the Bay Area. Winds are blowing between 50 to 65 mph with gusts of up to 75 mph expected.

The good news is, we've got plenty for you to experience right here in and around the Moscone Center where it's warm and dry. Pick up a copy of the printed Daily in the lobby of any building for a list of the day's activities or check out the conference schedule online.

You can keep an eye on the weather with this extended forecast. I'll be keeping an eye on the Oracle Yacht docked on Howard Street—you never know when it might come in handy …
