BMW ORACLE Racing Showcase Their Wears at the Oracle OpenWorld Welcome Reception

Sun Microsystems Chairman and Co-Founder Scott McNealy ended his Sunday night keynote urging attendees to have fun, and just outside Moscone North, the party began. Beer, wine, barbeque, fruits, cheeses, it was all there in abundance. And so were the fashions.

While Oracle OpenWorld attendees sampled delectable bites from the buffet and delicious beats from DJ and producer Vin Sol, runway models made their way up and down the catwalk assembled under the west end of the Howard Street Tent. New pieces from the BMW ORACLE Racing Official Collections, created SLAM S.p.A. of Italy, took center stage as beautiful young men and women paraded, turned, and posed. From wet weather gear and bags, to hats, shorts, and shirts; it all got time under the spotlight.

You can find the same pieces sported at the Welcome Reception by heading to the Slam Retail Shop just outside of the BMW ORACLE Racing Experience at the west end of the Howard Street Tent. The shop is open during the show from 10:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

While you're there, check out a scale model of the BMW ORACLE Racing Extreme 40 catamaran. You might even get to meet BMW ORACLE Racing team members. Head to the BMW ORACLE Racing Experience Tuesday from 10 a.m. to noon, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., or Wednesday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to get a BMW ORACLE Racing poster signed by the team.
