Migration to MT part 1 done

The team at Oracle have completed the migration of our blogging platform to Moveable Type. Let me know if you spot any data glitches, e.g. in the sample code.

Part II of the change is an upgrade of MT itself, scheduled for later this year.

Can we have some updates as to the benefits you would gain from the migration and also the hiccups faced.

Movable Type has been around for quite some time.
What are the prime reasons for considering Movable Type?

We gained better enterprise support.

It does take time to prepare and make a platform change smooth: everything from hardware to user training has to be factored in.
