We intend to keep this manual updated. We know there are some sections to be smoothed, and one or two gaps to be filled, but we wanted to share the information now because the document is in solid shape.
Update June 16: Thanks for all the positive comments about the book. At NY PHP Conference, people I respect have congratulated Alison and myself, and given it a positive reception which is very pleasing. Don't forget there is another Oracle manual on PHP - the "2 Day Plus PHP Developer Guide" which can be found on the Oracle XE documentation page. This is an introductory "let's build a PHP application from scratch" tutorial, which is useful if you've never used PHP before.
