Oredev 2008: Be Prepared for SOA Security

I'm happy that my paper got accepted and scheduled. Meet me at Øredev 2008 in Malmö.

Be prepared for SOA Security: Secure Your Java EE 5 application for a Rude World

That rude and harsh world outside our development shops can be chartered with the right gear for every situation. No application can stand alone and must work together with other applications in a team of trust to fulfill the task in the best and securest way and build reputation for further tasks. A common understanding of trust and security helps to accomplish these tasks. Since understanding depends on the capabilities of the partners a well equipped web of trust can use many different tools to fulfill the task.

This presentation will give an overview of the currently available security standards and options to implement the right combination of security for the challenges of your application.

If you think security is not your concern, please pass your car keys to the presenters for free ;-)

I'm not going to be able to join you at this conference. Would it be possible to get a copy of your presentation and any other papers you might have done in the area of security for a SOA environment? Your insights would be very useful and helpful.

Thanks

Elan,
thank you for your interest in my paper. I'm in the middle of developing this one and will post a pointer to the delivered content.
