No application can stand alone and must work together with other applications in a team of trust to fulfill the task in the best and securest way and build reputation for further tasks. A common understanding of trust and security helps to accomplish these tasks. Since understanding depends on the capabilities of the partners a well equipped web of trust can use many different tools to fulfill the task.

This presentation will give an overview of the currently available security standards and options to implement the right combination of security for the challenges of your application.

JDeveloper 11g just around the corner?

I'm in the lucky position of having access to daily builds of JDeveloper. It is quite exciting how the tool progresses and improves over time. Together with the Oracle OpenWorld 2008 announcement of a General Availability around October, 1st, 2008, signs are there. The first release of JDeveloper 11g seems to be just around the corner!

Prepare yourself!

To prepare yourself for the release date of JDeveloper 11g, you should backup all your JDeveloper 11g TPx projects you would like to use. I don't say that it will break your project, but normal common sense is always a good advise. Everytime!
