A Question on Oracle Identity Management Products

Peter Kinev asked in a comment the following:
"Can you provide any commentary on Oracle (original) IdM + Xellerate +
Oblix components in complete Oracle Identity Management system
infrastructure? I see a lot of duplication, unnecessary complicity,
very difficult integration."

My personal answer - There is some duplication between 'legacy' Oracle IdM products and our aquired products however, most customers find they get much more benefits than they had with our legacy identity & access management applications. If they did not - we wouldn't be growing at the pace we have and would not be recognized by the analysts at leading the pack both with current product mix and our roadmap.

If you would like a picture of where we are and where we are going - I would suggest that you read this document. Additionally you can ask your account rep to setup a one-on-one to discuss future direction in more direct manner. Finally - if you are having particular trouble with deploying/testing one of our products  (I assume *something* had to prompt the question :)) - please drop me an email at mark.wilcox at oracle.com and I will direct you to whom can help you best.
