Oracle E-Business Suite Technology

10gR2 10.2.0.4 Certified on Solaris x86-64 and HP Tru64 for EBS 11i

Our Applications Platforms Group continues to round out our certification matrix for supported operating systems for the E-Business Suite.  They've released two new platform certifications for Apps 11i on the 10gR2 (10.2.0.4) database:

Oracle E-Business Suite Release 11i (11.5.10.2) is now certified with Oracle Database Server 10gR2 version 10.2.0.4 on Sun Solaris x86-64 (64-bit).  The Solaris x86-64 certification is for Solaris 10 and is a database tier only certification (also known as a "split configuration"), where the application tier must be on a certified Oracle E-Business Suite Release 11i platform.

E-Business Suite Release 11i (11.5.10.2) is now certified with Oracle Database Server 10gR2 version 10.2.0.4 on and HP Tru64.  This certification is for HP Tru64 5.1b and is a fully-certified configuration for both the application server and database tiers.

Discoverer 10.1.2.3 Certified with Apps 11i

I'm still on vacation but can't resist posting about new certifications from my team.  Michael Armstrong-Smith has been diligently (and correctly, of course) reminding EBS users that they should hold off on upgrading to Discoverer 10.1.2.3 until it's certified with the E-Business Suite Release 11i. 

The wait is over:  Discoverer 10.1.2.3 is now certified with Oracle E-Business Suite Release 11i 11.5.10.2 and higher.

Single Sign-On and Oracle Internet Directory 10.1.2.3 Certified with EBS 11i

OpenWorld 2008 has started with a vengeance.  I estimate that in any given hour, there are 50 to 60 sessions going on simultaneously. In the midst of all of this frenzied activity I'm struggling to keep up with our announcements. Here's another certification (with more to follow later today): Oracle Single Sign-On and Oracle Internet Directory 10.1.2.3 have been certified with Oracle E-Business Suite Release 11i and 12.
