Last week was fairly quiet on Mix. Here are the numbers:
- Registered users: 41,525
- Active users (30-day): 4,736 (11.4%)
- Page views (30-day): 62,535
- Twitter followers: 857
The new features mentioned last week are currently under review and we'll release them as soon as we're done with testing.

Hi,
Seems the RSS feeds at this website doesn't work at all, I tried with couples of RSS readers and none of them could work with it.
And furthermore, the email notification doesn't work either.
Could you help on this since we have created many groups for our partners. It's unrealistic for us to check their update one by one.
Thanks a lot !

@Eric
Please let us know exactly which RSS feeds aren't (or weren't) working for you so we can investigate where there might be an issue.
The same goes for email notifications. We are currently aware of a number of problems that other users have reported and hope to have a fix ready in the next release.
Thanks!

The email function seems not working at all.
First, we can't get any email notification for group updates(even we turned on).
Second, some external partner were invited to join Mix, but they never received their invitation letter, and after they register and log in, they can not do anything, because system says: You cannot perform this action until you confirm your email address. And they can not do anything. Please help to solve this soon. We really need to communicate with partners through Mix.
Thanks!

I tried to sign up for Mix (since it seems to be required for an Oracle webinar I'm registered for next week), and I can't do anything (post, update, respond, nada), since I haven't received the confirmation email. This seems to be a long-standing issue, I notice posts about it going back to last year. Any chance of resolution soon?
Thanks!

I've been unable to use the Mix site since I was registered for it. Despite many attempts at resending the confirmation email, I am unable to use the site. Have sent "feedback" using the form several times. Fairly disappointing.

We're looking into the confirmation process to see why exactly it doesn't seem to be working for everybody.
Some work was done on notifications since the last deployment and those fixes will go out with the next release that's currently being tested.
@Michael:
Apologies if any earlier feedback was left unanswered. I'm following up with you via email to find out what happened there.

I have the same problems as Michael. Requested confirmation email several times and I have sent feedback to see what was going on.

I am registered for the Oracle/Amazon VDD on May 27; apparently if I want to get support during the sessions, I need to be registered on Oracle Mix. I registered for Mix last week Monday, and despite dozens of attempts, I still have not received one confirmation email. Can someone from the Mix team please give me an alternative way to get validated on Mix, since it's pretty clear the email mechanism is broken?
Thanks,
Duane

Later today, we'll start to manually activate those accounts that are having problems with email confirmation.
We'll post an update to the blog once we know what's causing these issues.
Once again sorry for the inconvenience!

That's great news! How will we know that we have access to confirmed Mix features - will you send us an email notification? As you can imagine, I am quite eager to try out the various features on the Mix site.

Yes, we'll notify everyone once their email address has been manually validated and they can log in.
