Do you plan to use Oracle WMS or MSCA in future? Are you interested in Oracle WMS or MSCA and want to know more? Are you a current Oracle WMS or MSCA Customer? If you answered yes to any of the above questions, we need you....err your feedback!

In order to promote better understanding of the breadth and depth of the Oracle WMS and MSCA products, we would like to propose a quarterly web conference in which we would discuss various aspects of the products. In order for this to be most effective, we would like to solicit your feedback with an indication of topics of interest to your company. If you are a current user of the WMS product, it would be meaningful for you to indicate the version you are on, and if your interest is in Release 12 or the version you are on. The products covered by our SIG are Warehouse Management (WMS), Mobile Supply Chain (MSCA), Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and Material Handling Equipment (MHE). We are looking at this web conference taking place somewhere in the September time-frame, tentatively looking at the second week of September. Therefore, we would like your feedback as soon as possible.

On January 31st, 2008 at 10:00am the quarterly Logistics SIG session will hold its next meeting. The conference call/webex should run about an hour. Below are the details for both the online session and the audio number. The Agenda will include the following 2 customer presentations:

1. Constellation Energy Group is a NYSE Listed utility company (CEG) utility company based in  Baltimore, MD. Constellation is using WMS for its maintenance and repair operations. This presentation will focus on their experience with implementing WMS, lessons learned and how picking needs of wires and cables were addressed during the implementation.

2. Pacific World Cosmetics, an Oracle full suite and WMS customer is having an interesting extension built that will do Pick-confirm, LPN (Box) creation, Ship-confirm, Carrier selection, generating PRO# (tracking#), printing shipping documents and shipping labels in a single step. also can ship-confirm multiple sales Orders belongs to a PO# in a single step. It is particularly relevant for small warehouses with limited personnel.
