I have received several emails asking if mobile personalization is also available for Telnet/Character based devices. The answer is yes. Personalization will work regardless of what device is being used for WMS mobile transactions. The same setup and patch will work for a GUI interface as well as telnet based character interface.

Functional Overview

This patch provides the capability of personalizing Oracle Warehouse
Management pages without making any code changes. You can hide fields and
provide default field values to reduce the amount of information a user must
enter on a page. These changes reduce the number of scans and improve overall
efficiency and execution. You can also set additional fields as required if
these fields are essential to your business.

We will gradually enable mobile inventory forms for customization. Though I do not know any release dates as of now.

Is mobile personalization available for Release 12i. If yes, can we apply the same patch? If not, when will this feature be rolled for Release 12i?

Mobile personalization is currently not available for Release 12i. It should be released shortly. Please stay tuned for updates.

Is there some news when we can be able to personalise the Telnet pages in Rel 12i. Is there some other work around also to default some fields in these pages.
