Lucas Jellema has posted an example that uses the new Deep Linking functionality of jhs1013: Show lookup details in popup (dialog) window using ADF Faces & JHeadstart 10.1.3. He refers to the JHeadstart 10.1.3 Developer's Guide that we're currently writing, and of which a draft version is available for subscribers of the JHeadstart Supplement Option.
Lucas mentioned that it took him some time to realize that he had to deep-link-enable the deeplink's target group. Thanks for the feedback Lucas, I have clarified this in the final version of the Developer's Guide!
