My favourite technology podcasts

I spend quite a bit of time travelling and my iPod/iPhone are usually topped up with plenty of Podcasts. After laughing through Russell Brand, Chris Moyles and NPR's "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me" I get my fix of weekly technology updates from the following podcasts.

BBC_digital_planet_icon.gifBBC World Service's Digital Planet
Excellent weekly update on technology with a really global perspective and by far the best produced and most globally encompassing. Presented by Gareth Mitchell and Bill Thompson, they cover a wide variety of topics produced in a clean and accessable format. They also have a very active Facebook group

A nice and short podcast covering a lot of very new technology and closely follows the latest in technology news.

Our own technology podcasts from within Oracle. These discuss a wide variety of topics relating to our Fusion Middleware stack of which the Oracle IRM technology is one.

Fusion Middleware Radio podcast: Secure and Track Information Everywhere It's Stored and Used

A few months back I recorded a little podcast via Oracle Fusion Middleware Radio.

Secure and Track Information Everywhere It's Stored and Used. Simon Thorpe, senior sales consultant, discusses how Oracle Information Rights Management uses encryption to extend information management beyond the repository. Learn how to prevent unauthorized access and maintain control over your documents, even after they leave your organization.

You can listen to the podcast here.
