Welcome to Health Sciences Connect and our first official post! We are very excited about getting this initiative off the ground!. As social media continues to gain steam in our daily lives, both personally and professionally, our hope is that this new channel for communication will foster some great discussion about our vision, our mission and our products. We will discuss topics that we feel passionately about in our industry and product family. We hope to stimulate your thinking, get feedback about what is important to you as our customer, understand what resonates in your world and also understand where we need to improve.

First a little bit about our Health Sciences mission here at Oracle. Through our focus on Health Sciences as an industry, we are striving to bring a new generation of applications to the Health Sciences industry that will shape the future of how you use technology. I have personally spent over 14 years here at Oracle and am incredibly excited by our vision for the future of Health Sciences and how we, as an industry partner, can truly make a difference in helping to address the challenges you face today and into tomorrow.

I am fortunate to be surrounded by very passionate people who are truly committed to our mission and you will hear from many of them over the coming months. Our hope is that through this blog we will become better acquainted with many of you.
