Idea Convergence

Ideas converge. Especially when we are in an age of paradigm shifting (and we are!). I have long written about tapping ad hoc or accidental collaboration. Especially as it pertains to organic and emergent patterns of meaning(pdf alert), and business process impact (pdf alert).

I have written about Enterprise Information Management and used an example of creating an organic social network from EIM emails.

In Chapter 10 of Reshaping Your Business With Web 2.0, I expanded on the idea.

Bex Huff has written on the same thing. That signal got amplified in Social Computing Magazine.

Now variations on the same theme are emerging in other places like The Connectbeam Social Computing Blog.

It is exciting to see these ideas converge and emerge.
