1. wear a kilt but am not Scottish (as far as I know)
2. was a debater in college, liked it so much I got a master's degree in it (let the puns start).
3. married a woman who was my debate coach in college. We got married to argue more conveniently.
4. have lived in 8 states (and two of those, twice separately) on both coasts and the middle of the USA. They are: Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia*, Washington State, Illinois*, Maine, Oregon, Minnesota.
5. am a vegetarian. Help farm animals, don't eat them.
6. am an environmentalist. I wrote my graduate thesis on eco-theology.
7. vote republican (mesh *that* with 5 and 6)
8. am an oenophile - I also write at The Wine Cask Blog.
9. am the son of a preacher. My first rock concert was Stryper (YESSSSSSS!)
10. have a Zune (never owned an iPod) with a playlist includes: gregorian chant, 311, Casting Crowns, My Chemical Romance, Henry Mancini, and Iron&Wine among others.
