Treasury technology feature on gtnews.com

My favorite site for all things treasury gtnews.com (free registration required) is running a feature on treasury technology this week.

If you only have time to read one of the seven new articles, I will definitely recommend Elizabeth St-Onge's "Treasury: The Last Frontier of Automation". While the need for treasury technology is apparent and there is no shortage of options, the author points out a myopic view of the investment in treasury technology and competing priorities as two main reasons for the relatively modest adoption rates.

Coincidentally, in my presentation at the Oracle OpenWorld on November 14 (Session # S291194), I will be making a case for choosing treasury operations as the next target for business process automation. My co-presenter from Yahoo! will share their story of implementing Oracle Treasury.

Some companies have dedicated systems for each part of the treasury operations. Others manage multi-million dollar deals in spreadsheets. Where does your company stand on the treasury technology adoption curve?
