Oracle's Juan Loaiza on Exadata V2

I recently recorded this podcast, Oracle Exadata V2: The World's First OLTP Database Machine, with Juan Loaiza, Senior VP of Systems Technology at Oracle, to get the low-down on Oracle Exadata V2 and the Sun Oracle Database Machine. Juan discusses the improvements in Oracle Exadata V2 and describes how The Sun Oracle Database machine provides extreme performance for OLTP workloads by using flash memory to run up to a million I/O operations per second. Juan also touches on the new technologies for compression in Exadata V2 that allow 10 times more data to be stored at the same cost. The bottom line: The Sun Oracle Database Machine is the fastest and most economical platform for both Data Warehousing and OLTP!
