Spreadsheet Master Learns the Value of Oracle Application Express

Oracle Application Express (Oracle APEX) is a rapid Web application development tool for the Oracle database. Using only a Web browser and limited programming experience, our hero can develop and deploy professional applications that are both fast and secure. Will his colleague, the Spreadsheet Master, ever learn his lesson?

I am not sure I understood what was going on in the vidio clip. Were they trying to project that they could develop spread sheets almost instantaneouly or what? It just didn't 'tie together' for me. I must admit, I have been using Excel for years.

This clip is our first attempt at a storytelling video. What we're trying to show is how people who have an Oracle Database license in their company can quickly build Web applications to do the stuff they currently do using spreadsheets. We wanted to show that using a Web application is much less confusing and time consuming, even for someone who is really good at spreadsheets.
