Arch2Arch Podcast Show Notes: Hairball Architecture and Other Nightmares

All three parts of the OTN Arch2Arch Podcast program covering Hairball Architecture and Other Nightmares are now available.

Oracle ACE Director Basheer Kahn (blog, ACE Profile) of Innowave Technology, and Oracle ACE Jordan Braunstein (blog, ACE Profile) of Rolta TUSC are the panelists for this three-part series.  Jordan’s use of the term “hairball architecture” during the interview was the inspiration for the title of this series.

In Part One Basheer and Jordan discuss the need for collaboration to close the business/IT gap, the perils of standards overload, and what happens when architecture isn't tied to a business initiative. (Listen)

In Part Two the discussion turns to standards enforcement,  getting buy-in on massive change, and other scary stuff. (Listen)

In Part Three Jordan and Basheer take a look at potential new nightmares in the future of software architecture, and also let some light in with a discussion of exciting new possibilities. (Listen)

Basheer and Jordan  are members of the OTN Arch2Arch Podcast Group on Oracle Mix, where you can interact with them directly if you have questions about this podcast, or anything else.
