In last few months, more and more questions have come up about how to configure Oracle WebLogic Server to work with Oracle RAC. Oracle RAC 11 was released with enhanced features and some new support. Of interest, the release addresses the known XA limitations associated with the previous releases. Some of you have asked if it’s possible to make Oracle WegLogic Server 10.3 to work with Oracle RAC 11g.
We have created a sample and included all the detailed configuration and testing steps in a How-To here:

Hopefully this will give you a good start and you will be able to do this your own following the configuration samples provided here.
Also, check out the white paper, which gives an overview of Oracle RAC, Oracle WebLogic Server and the details of Oracle RAC support configuration options in Oracle WebLogic Server JDBC multi data sources:

That's right. You can now find two new Amazon Machine Images (AMIs) for Oracle WebLogic Server listed in Amazon's public AMI repository here.
In a matter of minutes, you can have a fresh fully functioning WebLogic Server environment up and running ready to host your applications. The guide provided on Oracle's Cloud Computing Center (under middleware) provides excellent instructions in getting started with the provided AMIs. The trickiest part of getting started with Amazon Web Services (AWS) will likely be connecting through your corporate firewall.
The two AMIs (32 bit & 64 bit) contain the following components:
| Component | Description | Version Number |
| OEL JeOS Operating System | OEL JeOS is a headless version of the Oracle Enterprise Linux 5.2 Operating System. | Oracle Enterprise Linux 5 Update 2 JeOS-1.0.1 |
| JRockit JRE | JRockit provides the Java run-time environment for the WLS instances. The JRockit components/features provided in the following directories are not included in the AMI:
- /demo
- /missioncontrol
- /sample
- src.zip
- /bin/console
- /bin/jrmc
| JRockit JDK 6.0 R27.6 (Java version 1.6.0_05) |
| WebLogic Server | The WebLogic Server components included in a complete WLS installation, with the exception of:- Server Examples
- WebLogic Web Server Plug-ins
- Workshop Components
| WebLogic Server 10.3.0.0 |
