NCR-Oracle blend streamlines RFID applications

NCR Corporation has integrated its NCR TransitionWorks for RFID and Mobility software with the Oracle E-Business Suite. The combination will enable real-time monitoring of inventory for supply chain and manufacturing processes, and help to automate and streamline those processes.
Oracle's customers will be able to easily augment current implementations of the Oracle E-Business Suite with updated, streamlined business processes using RFID technology. For example, RFID-enabled forklifts and conveyors will be able to track inventory and storage locations automatically.
